Blooming where you’re planted song highlights: Canned Goods

Another great song for our two Blooming Where You’re Planted concerts in April! Get transported back to Grandma’s house with this nostalgic song written by Iowa native, Greg Brown. As the song starts out with “Let the wild winter wind bellow and blow; I’m as warm as a July tomato,” we’re rehearsing this song during the coldest, winter months of the year. But that doesn’t stop us from feeling Grandma’s love and care as we could almost taste that summer goodness that we are singing about! We hope our rendition expresses the same feeling that Greg’s does:
