The Family Folk Machine is in the midst of “Dreaming Iowa,” a year-long project celebrating the bright points in Iowa’s multicultural past and dreaming about what we’d like to see in Iowa’s future. This fall we have more than 100 singers in the choir, from babies through great-grandparents, and we’re learning from each other’s work and witness about Iowa’s history of being a place of welcome and building a better society.
