Blooming where you’re planted song highlights: Brown Gold

compost

Anyone who is a gardener will tell you that the best way to produce a bountiful, tasty garden is to start with the nutrient-rich soil. So we couldn’t have our April Blooming Where You’re Planted concerts without including one of the most important components of gardening – compost! Brown Gold, by Tom Chapin, John Forster, and Michael Mark, is a fun song all about how a shovel full of compost makes a garden grow and what all should go into the compost pile to make this valuable resource. One of our projects we are doing this spring is making a recording of Brown Gold. We hope to have a video soon, so check back often to see when it is loaded!
