Community Singing Gathering
2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the Month
Next Gatherings: Oct. 14th and 28th
6-7:30pm
FREE and Open to the Public

What kind of singing do we do?
We sing about the wonder of Nature, Spirit, Light…. heart centered songs. We also enjoy singing about gratitude, healing, comfort, humility, joy, love, the earth, the elements and songs from afar. We welcome anyone who loves to sing from their heart and has a desire to join in community with others.

This group was inspired by an event called Village Fire in Decorah, IA (www.villagefiresinging.com). No previous singing experience expected, this is a heart-centered approach to singing, where all voices are welcome. Children are welcome to join in the singing or play while their parents sing.

NEW LOCATION: We will no longer be meeting at Willow Creek Park because it may be too cold in October. We will now be meeting at Harvest Preserve in Iowa City. (The Harvest Preserve is located in the northeast corner of Iowa City. Scott Boulevard forms the north and east border of the Preserve. The west border and the southern border are landlocked. Access to the Preserve is directly opposite the landmark barn at 1645 N. Scott Boulevard. Visit www.harvestpreserve.org for more info. We will be meeting in the boathouse (dark red building by the pond), although there are some chairs, please bring one if you can. The gate will be open for you, there is a parking lot right there, the boathouse is very close to the parking lot.)
